As I was in the final stages of booking my flight to my parent’s homeland, Dominican Republic, I came across the option of choosing the big seat up front on
the Spirit Airlines website. The cost was a little extra more than the normal seats towards the back end of the plane, but nothing I couldn’t afford within my budget. Although Spirit Airlines doesn’t offer the true first class experience, it was still an upgrade from the norm. I remembered listening Randy Gage give his story about flying first class, and the feeling he got when sitting in that plush big leather seat. I finally got a taste of what he was talking about by riding on the front of the plane in a seat twice the size of a normal coach seat. Ladies and Gentlemen let me tell you it’s not the same. I am not only referring to the obvious features as in more room, and comfort. What I am referring to is the experience and value that I received by riding in first class.
As I was sitting in my comfy seat waiting for the passengers to fill in the rest of the plane, the young lady whom reserved the seat next to me appeared. She cordially greeted me with a smile while she took her seat. Being the friendly person that I am, I started a casual conversation with her about business. By the time the plane landed in Santiago, Dominican Republic I had learned that this young lady was the head VP of a major company. As common business gesture we exchanged business cards an agreed to stay in touch. The point is, would I have had the opportunity to meet the VP of a major company in coach? Probably, but most likely not. There’s a famous motivational quote out there that best sums up this experience: “It’s difficult to soar with the eagles, when you choose to live among turkeys”.
While some may view it as a unnecessary expense, I saw it as an opportunity to experience a higher level of prosperity. To me it was like my graduation onto the next level of prosperity.

Attitude is everything. I know for myself years back I lived in constant fear and had a “stinking thinking” attitude. I had given my power away and was lost and caught up in a victim’s mentality. The principles of the Vacuum Law apply in all aspects of your life spiritually, mentally and physically. The right attitude will improve your life.  Speaking of being in a state of financial lack will keep you there.  Never think of yourself as broke! Always think about what you do have and count your blessings. You have to release the lack mentality and shift that mindset to one of prosperity. If you are looking for love give it up! Open up to receive! Â
I have a friend who used to frequently text me with the Latin phrase, “Carpe Diem” first thing in the morning. In English that is typically translated to “Seize the day.” I always liked it and it was meaningful to me because it reminded me to make the most of the day and to see each thing I encountered whether planned or unplanned, good or bad as an opportunity for progression, rather than a road block that day.
