Christmas Emotions

Christmas Emotions

Christmas Emotions

Sandy Jean had the intention to enjoy the Christmas lights with her family.  The lights had always made her feel good but now she wasn’t feeling good.  She was flooded with memories of fights at Christmas and times when people drank too much liquor and talked of harsh things ruining the spiritual feeling of the lights.  She remembered some of the Christmas stories on the Television and there always seemed to be problems and as she sank lower in her sad emotions.  The lights of Christmas felt like they were penetrating her heart with stabs instead of lifting and enlighten her spirit.

Then a breath of relief was felt in her heart.  Sandra Jean pivoted her emotions with a swift refocusing technique she had learned at her recent Law of Attraction Certification in Memphis Tennessee with Michael Losier.  She felt in charge and as smooth as a baseball player who feels his energies enter the baseball bat as he swings and hits the ball and in his body, mind and soul comes a realization that he has connected to something greater than himself.

To be able to pivot your emotions is a skill that can be learned.  It is a similar to learning a new language.  Instead of learning Spanish or French the new language is the language of emotion, feeling, or vibration.  We would have a different world if this language was required learning.

The new language that could greatly improve your feeling of well-being is called “The Law Of Attraction”.  It has been around a long time and can be found in many ancient texts in one form or another.  It is a concept that is not well accepted by many, as it requires you to take responsibility for your actions and thoughts.

Once The Law is understood and deliberately applied there is great benefit.  Life seems happier, healthier, and just feels good.

The Law of Attraction is a universal law, which has been around as long as the law of gravity.  It is working right now in this moment and has always been working whether you are aware of it or not.  It is some times called coincidence, serendipity, or faith.  You attract the people, situations, jobs and much more into your life by your emotional base of feeling.  The good news is that there is ways to begin deliberately attract what you want into your life.

Four Tips for beginning to deliberate attract

  • Become aware of your words
  • Become aware of your thoughts
  • Become aware of your emotions
  • Become aware of how your words become your thoughts, which create the emotions that manifest in the results, you are experiencing.

To learn how to become a deliberate attractor is well worth the effort.  There are many processes and books on the subject of Law of Attraction.  Below are a few that I have been attracted to but the best books and processes you can possibly experience are your own as you move through learning about The Law Of Attraction.

MorningCoach.com Member Helps Children Around the World

I am really excited to announce a new book by one of our MorningCoach.com members Debbie Newhouse. I received my copy last week and just want to tell the world what Debbie is doing to help students and make the world a better place with this book.

Debbie is donating 100% of the profits from here book The Magic Seed to The School Fund. You can see some of the students who already have been helped by visiting Debbie blog here: Debbie Newhouse.

Here are some of the things Debbie shared with me on how MorningCoach.com helped her achieve her dream of becoming a children’s book author.

(1) I learned from MorningCoach that my immediate family and friends weren’t going to be wildly supportive (at least, at first). This was a helpful insight: my closest family saw writing a book as a “risk” and not be able to envision me as a serious author. It wasn’t that they were against it, it’s just that they were lukewarm. They knew me as having my “day job” and couldn’t really see the vision I had for myself. Knowing this helped me get past it – and helped me notice the other people in my life who lit up like a light bulb when I told them I was writing a children’s book!

(2) Getting a big why: I realized that I was keeping my book on the back burner because I didn’t have a “big why”. I didn’t need the book to be income for me – I had a job. So why commit to write it? When I found out about my friend Matt Severson’s nonprofit, The School Fund, which connects donors to students in developing countries to help them go to school, I realized I could use the book to help. By finishing my book, then donating all its profits to help these children – that would be a BIG WHY to finish!

(3) Investing in myself: I needed to learn to draw cartoons so I could illustrate my book myself. Once I had that as a Sacred Six, I discovered a cartooning class I could actually take through the Internet with an instructor in New Zealand! The class was really intensive, but I could do the drawing at home, then we shared photos of our sketches online to get coaching. It was amazing, and I got confident enough to illustrate the book. Then the whole thing came together in a very busy month!

Thanks, JB, for everything you and your team are doing. I’m listening every day!

Well Debbie, THANK YOU! For making a difference in the world. This is why we put MorningCoach.com together. Keep changing the world!

Book Review – Life without Limits by Nick Vujicic

001After listening to Nick’s interview with JB Glossinger on “Profiles in Success” on Morning Coach, I couldn’t wait to purchase this amazing book.   Nick is an internationally renowned motivational speaker travelling the world sharing his wisdom, inspiring the world to overcome adversity with faith, and spreading the word about the power of purpose.  What is truly remarkable is his life journey.  You see, Nick was born without arms or legs and this book illustrates his journey with his disability finding his independence and following God’s path with humility, love, hope and always with laughter.   Let me preface this review with Nick’s motto that he lives by “Another Day, another opportunity”.

The book captivates you right from the start.  Throughout the book in each chapter there are many life lessons such as: Finding a path, Dare to Dream, Holding on to Hope, Attitude is Altitude, the Lessons of Losing and in Chapter eight – Changing the World which resonated with me the most.  This chapter is a depiction of one of his speaking tours, but this time his 2008 trip to India.  His words give such a visual impact of how he must have felt walking through the red-light district known as “Streets of Cages” in Mumbai.  He witnessed firsthand the suffering in the brothels and slums of this city and he also saw the miracles that the dedicated missionaries are performing with the sex slaves and their children on the street of Mumbai.  He states: “As horrendous as life is for these girls and women, they often are afraid to make a change. Without faith, they lose hope, and then they lose their humanity. To make a change, you must be able to envision what lies on the other side. You have to have hope and faith in God and in your ability to find something better.”   This chapter ends with powerful, thought provoking and beautiful stories of women who found their courage despite their adversity to make a change and find their path to “God’s love and the strength of the human spirit”.

To conclude, I humbly ask you to take the time to read this book.  I would like to close with Nick’s words as I could not say it any better: “When you believe in abundance, you believe there are enough of God’s blessings – enough fulfillment, enough opportunity, enough happiness and enough love – out there for everyone. I encourage you to take that point of view because it opens you up to other people. With an abundance mentality, you believe there are rewards enough for everyone, so competition is more about striving to do your best and encouraging others to the same.”  Amen Nick Amen and God bless. Thank you for this gift and continue to be a force to reckon with in the world.

Book Review of “Walking Through Illusion” by Betsy Otter Thompson

master_visualI recently had the privilege of being asked to review this brilliant book by author Betsy Otter Thompson, “Walking through Illusion”.   The thought that first crossed my mind when I picked up the book was “Wow, this is different”.   A refreshing and insightful book written in question and answer format, a conversation with Jesus, featuring characters and stories that influenced him, however, what it really represents is Betsy’s spiritual journey to consciousness.

In the opening preface Betsy wonderfully illustrates her inspiration behind the book.  She opened her heart, received guidance and eloquently expressed them through the passages of this book.  There are 23 chapters – Reform, Gifts, Obstacles, Morality, Nourishment, Beliefs, Opinions, Approval, Fairness, Curiosity, Truth, Advice, Complaints, Acceptance Hearts, Handicaps, Betrayal, Identities, Hatred, Memories, Confusion, Death and the last chapter on Time.  My favourite parts of the book are at the end of each chapter which end with a Worksheet section that summarizes the chapter with thought provoking questions, a quotation, questions to ponder and finally her personal insight to the chapter’s subject.   Although a fast read, I took time to “ponder” and reflect on the questions that were being asked such as:  Do I honor my instincts and let them have their way, or do I doubt my instincts and let my fears have sway?

The 18th chapter, Identities resonated with me as I continue to grow on my path of personal evolution.   Betsy wrote in her personal insights: “I believe that God is a power-within-not a power that is only met upon death.  If that’s true, it simplifies things, don’t you think? No more dialogues about whose God is valid and whose God is not since every soul is equally valid. No more wars in the name of God since God is you, me and everyone. No more posturing that God told me to do this and God told me to do that since God isn’t separate from the speaker. No more worries about taking the name of God in vain since you might as well be cursing yourself. No more religions claiming that they have the one true path, since every path that offers a person love is the path of true redemption. No more guilt for breaking God’s rules since the rules we have are the ones we’ve given ourselves.”

I definitely recommend this creative book for those seeking personal and spiritual growth.  A great addition to your night stands to read over and over.   Thank you Betsy, for this splendid gift.
